Yoali Romero
President
Yoali Romero is a fourth-year Business Administration major concentrating in accounting, and plans to graduate June 2025 with CPA eligibility. Yoali grew up in Orange County, California and upon graduation intends to pursue a career in corporate accounting near home. In addition to CPAC, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new coffee shops, and attempting to embroider. If you spot her on campus you’ll most likely see her with a Starbucks or coffee in her hand!

Abbie Harooni
VP of Finance
Abbie Harooni is a fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. She plans to graduate with CPA eligibility in Winter of 2025. She is originally from Los Angeles, California, and will be spending this summer at home for her internship. Aside from CPAC, Abbie is involved in Cal Poly choirs, and works as a sales associate for a local restaurant. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, playing piano, and spending time with friends and family.
Finn Poulin
Director of Administration
Finn Poulin is a third-year Business Administration major concentrating in accounting, and plans to graduate with CPA eligibility by spring 2026. Finn is from Irvine, California and plans to start a public accounting career in that area after graduating from Cal Poly. Outside of CPAC, he enjoys reading, writing, playing video games, and drawing.
Emma Kuttruff
Director of Publicity
Emma Kuttruff is a third-year student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Studio Art, planning to graduate in June 2025 with CPA eligibility. She is originally from Rochester, New York and moved to California to attend Cal Poly and expand her experiences. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career in audit and continue her passion of painting in her free time. Emma enjoys hiking, swimming, art, working out, and traveling.
Spencer Zhang
VP of Events
Spencer Zhang is a third-year student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration concentrating in accounting with a minor in Statistics. Scheduled to graduate in June of 2026, he was raised in San Diego, California, but originally born in New Jersey! Recently, Spencer successfully walked onto the football team as a place kicker adding to his list of interests which include playing golf, watching soccer, trying new foods, listening to music, and hanging out with family and friends. After graduation, he envisions advancing his kicking career and/or embarking on his accounting career in San Diego.
David Abu-Ghosh
VP of Firm Relations
David Abu-Ghosh is a second-year business administration major, planning to concentrate in accounting and minor in sales. He grew up in Marin County, CA, and plans to return to the Bay after graduating. In his free time, David enjoys training in MMA, spending time outdoors, and traveling the world.
Carter Jones
Director of Social Activities
Carter Jones is a third-year Business Administration major concentrating in accounting. He plans to graduate with his undergrad after his 3rd year and pursue a Masters in Tax at Cal Poly. Carter grew up in Roseville, CA about 30 minutes northeast of Sacramento. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a career in Tax and eventually start his own firm in Wealth management and Tax planning. Outside of CPAC Carter enjoys golfing, playing soccer, working out, hiking, and trying new things.
Iresh Anarkat
Director of Community, Diversity, and Inclusion
Iresh Anarkat is a second-year business administration major planning to concentrate on accounting. He grew up in Silicon Valley and plans on returning there following graduation and pursuing a career in audit. In his free time, Iresh likes to play basketball, go to the gym, and binge-watch tv-shows.
Allison Prestwich
Director of Upper-Class Professional Development
Allison Preswich is a fourth-year Business Administration major concentrating in Accounting with a minor in Law and Society. She plans to graduate with CPA eligibility in June 2025. She grew up in Sacramento, California and won’t be too far from home in San Francisco this summer for her internship. Outside of CPAC, Allison works a part-time job, loves going on runs, and enjoys spending afternoons at the beach!
Suyeon Hwang
Director of Lower-Class Professional Development
Suyeon Hwang is a second-year economics major looking to concentrate in Accounting. She plans to graduate with a CPA in Spring of 2026. She was born in South Korea but grew up in Hollister, California. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career in advisory or consulting in the Bay Area. In her free time, Suyeon likes to cook for her friends and family.
Kim Westermann
CPAC Advisor
Dr. Kim Westermann, CPA (inactive), is a Professor of Accounting who specializes in Auditing and Accounting Ethics. She earned her B.S. at Cal Poly and has worked as an audit practitioner for both EY in San Jose and PwC in New York City. In 2011, she earned her Ph.D. from Bentley University and has become a prominent scholar of Audit Regulation and Global Audits.
