Your Rights as A student

You have the right to take your time and meet with all the firms you are interested in to make informed decisions without feeling rushed or pressured.

You are protected from excessive communication or signing bonus pressure tactics from firms.

Firms are expected to respect your academic schedule and your right to make decisions in a sober and thoughtful environment.
Event guidelines

Firms must prioritize your academic commitments. Events should be scheduled around your classes and study time.

Off-campus social events with firm representatives and student ambassadors, prospective candidates or those with pending offers should only be invited to dry events (i.e., no alcohol served).

This policy ensures no student feels pressured to drink or drink underage with a prospective employer. Your decision to join a firm should be made sober and without any pressure.
OFfer extensions & Deadlines

Offers made during Fall recruiting must stay open for at least two weeks. You also have the right to request a two-week extension if needed.

Winter recruiting offers, including those for DEI Initiative Programs, internships, and full-time positions, must remain open for four weeks from the offer date.

Firms are prohibited from using signing bonuses that expire before an offer decision is made. There should be no timed bonuses or other signing incentives meant to rush your decision.
